Job Summary:

This Analyst role is in the Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD) of MUFG Bank, Ltd. The role will be focused on supporting the administration and execution of the GFCD Issues Management Department (IM), including by developing procedure guidance documents, training materials and job aids, identifying and tracking process and procedure updates in accordance with annual updates, and administering key governance activities to execute program coordination and promote efficiencies. The Analyst will report into the Head of GFCD IM Program Governance and Administration.

Responsibilities:

• Gain familiarity with the MUFG financial crimes compliance framework, including the roles of Internal Audit and Compliance Testing

• Develop an understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (“ABC”) regulatory regime

• Support Head of GFCD IM Program Governance and Administration and team in the development of training materials, job aids, FAQs, and other material to support process execution

• Document key governance decisions made in connection with the GFCD IM program

• Administer and provide substantive content in connection with key governance forums, including all-hands and stakeholder meetings

• Support Program Governance and Administration team members in the development, execution, and maintenance of key program processes and initiatives

• Provide global stakeholders with support related to process execution

• Facilitate communication between GFCD IM teams, including Program Governance, Data Sourcing, Database Management & Reporting, Data Analysis, and Issues Management Operations

• Support general compliance activities and other duties, including special projects as assigned


Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree

• Experience in Financial Services, preferably in Financial Crimes Compliance or Risk Management areas preferred

• Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Office Suite of applications

• Communications-related experience (student journalism, blogging, training, public relations, etc.)

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Team-oriented approach to completing objectives

• Ability to influence key stakeholders across various systems divisions within MUFG

• Strong ability to drive complex discussions with MUFG management and stakeholders

• ACAMS or relevant professional qualification is a plus

• Limited travel is possible
