Job Summary:

This role covers operations activities which are commonly found in financial services firms and may support multiple specific lines of business. Roles covered in this function include: Trade 360 Reference Maintenance, Static Data / Data Management, Reconciliation/Investigation, Client Valuations / Pricing, Network Management, Know Your Client/Client Onboarding and Control, Tax Operations, etc. Roles at this level are responsible for routine operational work on a team that processes large volumes of transactions on a daily basis. Day-to-day actions are focused on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation. Works independently but will have access to and work reviewed by team leads and supervisors as needed. More senior individuals may direct workflow.

We're seeking a Trade Service Operations Database Customer Maintenance employee who will be responsible for daily T360 production workflow. You will perform quality control for customer information for both new accounts and maintenance requests.

Job Responsibilities:
Production Workflow-

Handle simultaneous requests, including on-boarding new customers, performing modifications and updates. Verify the accuracy of information provided in the workflow request. Present complex issues in a simple and straightforward manner to internal clients. Handle the consolidation of customers to ensure bank exposures are denoted accurately.

Project participation-
Improve and streamline the on-boarding process. Work with business users in the design and analysis phase to ensure coverage and quality for customer data. Participate in system testing, developing test scripts, and coordinating testing activities.

Reporting/Reconciliation-
Support existing department reports for daily, weekly, and monthly processes.
Build ad-hoc reports on customer data for various departments. Maintain and ensure compliance with department procedures and bank policies. Maintain data accuracy by reconciling data comparison reports. Investigate and resolve inaccuracies between applications relating to customer credit ratings. Offer and implement suggestions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of Bank processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in client on-boarding at a financial institution with products (i.e. trade finance)
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML policy
  • Understanding of operations, business activities, and compliance/risk issues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong time management, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and end user tools, such as Business Objects
