Job Overview/Responsibilities:

We are seeking Associate level candidates for the New York desk of our Global Currency Option Trading team, with a focus on G10 and Asian currencies. Be a lead contributor to achievement of market making objectives by working alongside Global Sales and Trading teams focusing on the following job functions: 

  • Price and execute currency option transactions for the Bank’s corporate and financial institution clients
  • Manage the portfolio inventory in close collaboration with the Global Currency Option Trading team located in Tokyo, London, and New York
  • Develop and enhance trading tools contributing to desk efficiency and platform upgrades
  • Responsible for all trade lifecycle events
  • Responsible for daily desk operations and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Sales teams to develop hedging solutions for the Bank’s global customer base
  • Conduct market research and communicate with global stakeholders

We Require:  

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative or scientific field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with currency option trading and inventory management
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to write VBA code (or other programming languages) is highly beneficial
  • Extensive regulatory knowledge (Dodd-Frank, Volcker, SEFs, et al)
  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work as a team player are critical for the global business model
  • Solid operational skills with strong attention to details and high operational accuracy
