Middle-Market CLO Origination & Structuring, Director or VP

Job Summary:


MUSA is looking for an individual with a CLO origination and structuring specialization coupled with a Middle Market client base expertise.


Responsibilities, Duties & Experience:

  • Primarily responsible for modeling and deal documents for all aspects of new issue Middle Market CLO transactions

  • Work with managers, Investors, Lawyers, Rating Agencies, Trustees and Accountants to carry out execution process of the transaction, including documentation, cash-flow modeling, rating agency analytics, marketing and investor analysis

  • Optimize portfolios and model new CLO structures for potential clients.
  • Take a lead role in assisting origination team to source new issue mandates

  • As appropriate liaise with relevant internal risk functions: legal, compliance, market and credit risk management

  • Participate in the product design, structuring, and launch of newactivities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA and/or CFA a plus

  • A minimum of 7 to10+ years of related CLO Middle-Market Origination & Structuring work experience

  • An established banker with extensive middle-market transaction and deal experience

  • Strong connectivity with middle-market CLO managers

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
