Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on leading and driving key elements of the cyber metrics reporting program.

  • Interface with metric owners, BISOs and risk and control partners to ensure metrics are defined appropriately

  • Develop reporting that enables our stakeholders (including security leadership, business partners and regulators) to understand progress and information security risks by business throughout the Bank 

  • Analyze data sets to identify key issues, trends, actionable insights and observations for the attention of management, including analysis of security vulnerability data including retrieval of application or infrastructure-specific vulnerabilities.

  • Provide insights through historical trend analysis and forecasting where applicable

  • Produce ad-hoc and regular cyber metric reporting, ensuring clear, concise and risk-focused presentation

  • Develop insights and gather commentary from application and infrastructure owners to support downstream risk reporting requirements (both internally and externally for regulators)

  • Own and respond to Vulnerability-related inquiries as needed

  • Maintain centralized tracking the cyber reporting being produced including the tracking and documentation of report filters which show traceability of how each metric number is calculated for reporting purposes

  • Stay current with latest developments in information security and organization structure internally that may impact reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cyber security, computer science, or related discipline required

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience designing, enhancing, implementing, or working with data feeds, or producing information security metrics reports

  • Experience working in banking and/or financial services preferred

  • Expert level proficiency in SQL Server database and Tableau server presentation tools to extract, classify, convert, and report data

  • Working knowledge of information security industry frameworks (i.e., National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC))

  • Knowledge of different technology operating environments and platforms

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment as it applies to information security within financial services industry

  • Ability to derive insights from data to validate with metric owners

  • Very strong data analysis skills

  • Cyber security, Tableau, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications preferred

  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to work in matrix setting and cross-functional teams, where building influence is important

  • Aptitude for remaining calm and objective under pressure and ability to work within tight delivery timelines

  • Articulate, concise, and intelligent communicator (verbal and written)
