As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to consumers and small businesses. A successful candidate will develop long-standing and mutually beneficial relationships through the sale of consumer and business loans, deposit and investment products, etc. to meet or exceed goals. The position requires flexibility — you will be executing most Branch functions and engaging in high degrees of interaction with customers under minimal direct supervision.

This role reports to the Branch Manager.


Sales and Service
  • Develop new business by researching and analyzing community markets, calling on existing and potential clients and local businesses, and prioritizing client needs.
  • Use expert-level product knowledge and a keen reading of customers' needs assessments to sell customers the right thing.
  • Ensure customers have a complete and accurate understanding of product features, including service charges, interest rates, etc.
  • Perform teller transactions and maintain cash drawer within prescribed cash limits and meet cash-balancing requirements.
  • Resolve problems, exceptions, and account adjustments in a timely and professional manner to strengthen customer retention.
  • Function as a back-up in operations as warranted by levels of responsibility.
Risk Management and Compliance
  • Adhere to all Bank operational and security, including compliance and privacy, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure customer information meets bank and regulatory documentation. 

As the right candidate, you should meet the following criteria:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and operational risk management, a background in financial services (including consumer lending) is ideal.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Series 6 and 63 Licenses preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of all Bank products and services, including Small Business deposits and credits.

This position may be subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all applicants for employment who will be engaged in residential loan mortgage originations (as defined by the SAFE Act) need to register with the federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements.
