Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Team Lead will serve as the Information Aggregation Compliance Domain Team Leader . 

In this role you will focus on facilitating data-driven decisions that advance business strategy. Responsibilities include Aggregation Layer Production Support, developing processes for aggregating and analyzing data; evaluating data to identify patterns, opportunities, and issues for use in data-driven decision-making; working with engineers and leaders across the bank to design reporting and analytical solutions for data and presentations on a broad range of topics that lay business users can access and navigate with ease.


  • Manage domain team members and Support production activities related to information aggregation layer.
  • Review and Certify system data associated with the domain and sub domain area for regulatory daily/monthly/quarterly/annual reports
  • Develop and maintain the consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing BI needs to meet business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Perform data preparation work (e.g., source, scrub, mine, and integrate relevant data sources) needed for the delivery of BI and data visualization solutions
  • Lead proof of concept projects to test and adopt emerging BI and/or advanced data visualization tools
  • Own the delivery of BI reporting and dashboards from start to finish
  • Contribute to defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency
  • Convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designs and data requirements
  • Partner with business stakeholders to streamline and automate existing reporting, crucial for meeting regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Support the development of a change management process that facilitates the ability for business leaders to propose and debate new metrics or metric modifications per business needs
  • Support the development of a standard process on defining data requirements, managing governance, creating BI reports and dashboards for use throughout the organization
  • Identify new approaches to complex design problems related to BI and advanced data visualization


  • Undergraduate degree in statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, or in a science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM) discipline
  • Masters’ degree preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Data Officer validating and certifying data in the finance regulatory (or risk) reporting space preferred. A solid data governance, controls, and/or audit background especially in the regulatory reporting (or risk) reporting space is a big plus with Production System Support experience
  • Experience in highly distributed complex business and technology environments. Experience in financial regulatory (or risk) reporting space and System Production Support knowledge is preferred. 
  • Ability to translate complex technical designs and terminologies into simplified business language
  • Experience with enterprise dashboard and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, or Business Objects, etc.) with very large data sets
  • Experience in wide range of analytics, BI, and big data technologies
  • Experience in metadata process, data lineage, and traceability repositories and technologies
  • Exposure to Hadoop or other big data and cloud computing technology is a plus
