Job Summary:

As a Compliance Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of the enterprise-wide Compliance Practices group.  Areas of involvement include Regulatory Data Management, Risk Assessments, Monitoring, Risk Reporting and Project Management.  The individual will work in close collaboration with senior compliance management, business-facing compliance staff, compliance SMEs, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, front-line business partners, and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely completion of assigned tasks.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with area leads across Risk Assessment, Monitoring, Reg Data Management, Issues Management, in support of initiative planning, providing insight and support around process optimization efforts
  • Identify control and compliance issues, assess and document the related risk, and make reasonable recommendations for resolution
  • Assist in the identification and modification of highly manual processes
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Support Compliance Management in developing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide Compliance Program and culture of compliance
  • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes
  • Facilitate the development and ongoing viability of multiple workflows and data aggregation/reporting applications using platforms such as SharePoint, InfoPath Designer, Access, SQL, advanced Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, and VBA
  • Participate in the maintenance of departmental documentation as required by policy
  • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with various levels of management
  • Ability to convert complex business requirements into actionable and efficient, system-based solutions
  • Ability to implement best practices that enhance interconnectivity between different sets of Compliance data
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to execute on multiple projects and understand how they fit into the larger Compliance Management Program
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and remediate process inefficiencies
  • Intermediate proficiency in the following:  Data management, VBA, SQL, Access, SharePoint, Advanced Excel formulas
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Tableau, InfoPath Designer, Java, C+, Python and other coding languages are a plus
